My first day reporting for work at a condo was filled with a mix of excitement and fear.
In the first six months, I often felt lost.
Legal terminology in laws seemed hard to comprehend.
Writing minutes under tight deadlines left me drained.
Inspections were exhausting, often uncovering issues requiring immediate solutions.
Dealing with residents, many of whom were demanding, tested my patience and diplomacy.
The need for prompt responses added immense pressure.
The stress reached its peak during a chaotic week.
I had to finalise meeting minutes, resolve disputes with residents, address overdue accounts and deal with an inspection that revealed critical problems.
It felt impossible to manage everything.
That week became my turning point.
I realised to succeed, I need to transform how I approach my work.
I immersed myself in learning—taking courses, improving my writing and management skills.
I sought guidance from mentors and built a network of reliable contractors, legal advisors and peers.
Through hard work, I mastered the complexity of condo management.
As I gained confidence, I wanted to take what I had learned and offer it on my terms.
This vision led me to establish my own company, Wisely 98 Pte Ltd.
I built a team committed to professionalism and excellence in condo management.
